vGas stoves, 1 tablespoon, and they will shine again: This is how you do it

Is your kitchen dull or stained? Here’s a surefire way to degrease it and restore its shine.

Cleaning kitchen countertops is often only a superficial task. Often, especially in a hurry, we simply wipe the surface without thinking about cleaning the individual elements. However, it is also important to clean the burners and grates, as dirt accumulates in them and can cause rust over time. Below we will explain how to properly care for them.

Cleaning stoves
First, you need to separate all the elements to be cleaned and proceed systematically. There are different methods, but one will restore the shine of the cookware. The first method involves using water and vinegar. Vinegar is an excellent degreasing and polishing agent, as well as antiseptic properties. The procedure is simple: simply pour 300 ml of water and 700 ml of vinegar into a saucepan, put it on the stove and bring to the boil. Once the mixture has boiled, turn off the heat and let the burners and cookware cool completely.

Then pour off the water, rinse the pots and, if necessary, scrub them with a sponge to remove stubborn stains. After washing, dry them thoroughly and then refit the burner and cooking plates.

Another household ally is undoubtedly baking soda. It can also be used to clean stoves by adding 4 tablespoons of baking soda to a pot of water and bringing it to a boil. Stir well until it is completely dissolved, then soak the dishes you want to degrease in it for a few hours. The softening action of the soda will dissolve the lightest deposits and stains, softening them and making them easy to remove.

Fine salt is also useful for removing stubborn stains. The procedure is always the same: add 3 tablespoons of salt to a pot of boiling water, mix well and leave the hob and dishes to stand for an hour. Rinse and dry thoroughly with a cotton cloth.

The Best Way to Restore the Shine of Your Stove
All of the methods described are very effective in cleaning stove parts, but there is one ingredient that requires not only immersion but also direct application to the stove, guaranteeing super-shiny pans.

I’m talking about citric acid, which is becoming increasingly popular in cleaning. As mentioned, it can be used in two ways, requiring the same preparation. Dissolve 150 grams of citric acid in a liter of boiling water. Now you can decide whether you want to soak your pots and stove burners, or use the mixture directly on the stove. Pour a tablespoon directly onto each burner, massage in gently, and let it sit for an hour or so.

In both cases, rinse or clean thoroughly and then dry with a cotton cloth.

What should you do with stubborn stains?

All of the methods described above contain ingredients that dissolve stains and deposits, all kinds of cleaning. If that’s not enough, you can also rub the items with a soft sponge after soaking.

You can also use a homemade degreaser that you can easily make at home. All you need is a teaspoon of baking soda, a little Marseille soap and 400 ml of water. Melt the soap in a double-walled saucepan with the baking soda, then add the water. Finally, pour the mixture into a spray bottle. This degreaser can be used on stoves and pans.

Rinse and dry thoroughly after use to avoid oxidation from residual water.
